About Me

Louise Jagger

BA (Hons), MSc, CRM5, (Dip), MAR, CNHC Reg.

Having experienced the health and well-being benefits of reflexology personally over many years, I was inspired to study Clinical Reflexology at the highest level at The Contemporary Reflexology College. This is a well-established College founded by Allison Walker, a respected practitioner, teacher and influencer within the clinical Reflexology profession. My Level 5 Diploma in Practitioner Reflexology is allied to the Nursing and Medicine sector and awarded by Agored Cymru, who have been successfully awarding this qualification since 2012 under the government regulatory bodies of Ofqual (The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) and QiW (Qualifications Wales). This qualification is also on the European Qualification Framework and therefore recognised internationally. I am also qualified in the pioneering Ziggie Bergman method of Facial Reflexology, as taught at the London School of Reflexology.

Studying at Level 5 is the equivalent of a Foundation Degree or HND. I chose this intensive training and qualification as it included a significant amount of practical work and assessment alongside in-depth study. This provided me with an advanced knowledge of anatomy, physiology and the reflexes on the feet, face, hands and ears as well as proficiency in the most effective techniques and aftercare.

I see my path to Reflexology as a natural evolution, having enjoyed a long and successful career in senior communications and fundraising roles, working for national and international charities. Most recently, I was a Director of Development at Aberystwyth University, where I also graduated with an MSc in International Politics as a mature student in 2014.

My motivation has always been to work with others to help improve people’s lives. I feel very privileged to now work as a Clinical Reflexologist and to use my knowledge and experience to support the health and well-being of my clients. I’m also proud to raise awareness of the benefits of Reflexology and to help support an increasing evidence base for its effectiveness.
